For the past two years, we have been addressing the concerns thought up by CWD and each time we successfully address their position their story seems to change. As a village, we formally presented our case to Champlain Water in December and in February we were officially denied the municipal wholesale rate based on a new set of explanations.

 

We are now writing a response to their position that hopefully will bring both sides of this discussion to light for the public to weigh in on. We are seeking support and involvement from the community in this ongoing issue. With potential time constraints, we are hoping the public will see the value and equity that would be gained in granting the Westbury Village equal rights to the wholesale water rate provided by CWD.
